Pick your size
Choose a standard size or build your own below. Dimensions are inside dimensions, the space your product needs.
- 2
Open the SVG
Open it in Illustrator, Affinity, Inkscape or Figma. It is drawn 1:1 in millimetres, so never resize it.
- 3
Lock the dieline
Keep the dieline layers on top and locked. Put your artwork on a new layer underneath.
- 4
Art to bleed, type to safe
Run backgrounds to the green bleed line. Keep text and logos inside the orange safe area and off the glue zone.

The construction rules behind every panel
Panels are inside length or width plus one caliper; body height is inside height plus one caliper.
Flaps are half of (width plus caliper), so the outer flaps meet exactly at the centre.
Slots are die-cut one caliper wide at each panel score.
Manufacturer’s joint is 1.5 in (1.25 in on small boxes) with 3mm relief at each flap score.
Artwork tips for this style
- Flutes must run vertically, parallel to the box height, for stacking strength.
- Keep critical copy 6mm off the flap scores. Flap register on corrugated wanders more than on paperboard.

What does FEFCO 0201 mean?+
FEFCO is the European corrugated industry code book. 0201 is the regular slotted container: four panels, one joint and equal-depth flaps where the outer pair meets at the centre.
Which flute should I choose for a shipping box?+
B-flute is the common all-rounder. C-flute adds stacking strength for heavier or taller boxes. E-flute prints more sharply and suits smaller, lighter shippers.
Why must length be the longer side?+
The inner flaps hang from the width panels and fold across the length. If width is larger than length those flaps overlap each other, so the template asks you to swap them.
Is this dieline template really free?+
Yes. Every standard size downloads instantly with no email. The custom-size generator asks for an email before the download so our team can help if you want the box produced.
Can I use this template with another printer?+
Yes. It is a standard SVG with a legend and spec block, so any printer can read it. Board and equipment vary, so verify the dieline with whoever prints the job before production.
